I can’t believe I haven’t come here sooner. This place is a bit deceiving from the outside. You don’t really know what you’re going to get. But when you go inside it’s an absolute vibe! Unlike any restaurant I’ve been to in Charleston. There’s a room in the back that can be reserved for parties with the most heartwarming wall art. It’s stratified layers of the previous restaurant’s utensils & supplies. And the story behind it is just beautiful. Our waitress, Angela, was awesome. She was super helpful, friendly, and accomodating. The food and cocktails were amazing as well. I have absolutely no complaints. Will definitely be coming back here for date nights & dinner with friends. Oh! They have award-winning Shrimp & Grits! And you’ve got to try their butternut squash ravioli!

A great first experience for my first try of Ms. Rose's. I got the rice fritters and shrimp and grits and both were phenomenal, and the portion of the shrimp and grits will leave you with leftovers so it's well worth. The bar service was good and the bartender was attentive. And there was trivia happening as I went so extra points for that, overall a great place to eat that will get plenty more visits

Just visited Charleston for the first time and this place was highly recommended by my husband's aunt and uncle. I have to say, I feel like we were spoiled with great service and amazing food. I could've eaten a whole pot of the shrimp and grits and still gone back for more! And our waitress was so sweet. Drinks were never empty longer than a second and our order was perfect the first time. Definitely going on the list to revisit next time we're in town.

GREAT food!! They advertise they won 1st Place in both southern fried chicken challenge and shrimp and grits challenge. After we sampled these on their menu, I have no doubts they won. We arrived on a Friday evening, later than normal dinner time, and got seated immediately. The waitress greeted us soon thereafter and was super friendly, explained the menu, and took our drink order. Drinks came out pretty quickly. Alcohol from the bar came out a few minutes later. The food came out pretty quickly, about 10 minutes. Everything was GREAT! The shrimp and grits were some of the best I've ever had. The grits themselves were outstanding, very creamy, smooth. My son got the chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best he's had. My wife got a grilled chicken sandwich on a homemade gluten-free bun. Our other son got a Reuben, one of his favorites, and it disappeared in a few minutes so it must've been good. The facilities were super clean and everything looked new. Staff was great. Prices weren't too bad and considering the quality and portions of the food, we felt it was a great value. We will visit again and recommend it to others.

Came in for lunch during the week and it was great. Enjoyed the space and our server was fantastic, I wish I could remember her name. She was older, quirky, and so nice. My friend and I came in and both ordered a cup of the chili and some spicy margs. Left very happy.

We had a group of 5 for brunch. They sat us immediately. The service was good and we enjoyed the food. Coming from the west we wanted to try something different. We had the shrimp and grits, the honey and tobasco fried chicken and some other dishes. We were happy with the servings. I really enjoyed the atmosphere! I recommend this place!
